Hey there, I’m Ron Kallemeyn, and I’m thrilled to be back in my hometown of Savanna, Illinois, and practicing law again with the opening of Kallemeyn Law Office, LLC. Let me give you a quick rundown of who I am and how I can help you navigate your legal needs.

Small Town Roots, Big City Experience
I was born and raised right here in Savanna. Growing up in this tight-knit community was a fantastic experience, and I’ve always felt a strong connection to the people and the area. After graduating from Northern Illinois University with a degree in political science, I earned my law degree from the University of Nebraska College of Law in Lincoln. Juggling law school and raising my three daughters wasn’t easy, but it shaped me into the dedicated professional I am today.

20 Years of Diverse Legal Experience
Since being admitted to the Illinois Bar in 1999, I’ve worn many hats. I spent my early career at the Whiteside County State’s Attorney Office, tackling DUIs, misdemeanors and felonies. Later, I balanced roles as a private attorney and part-time public defender, diving into family law and general legal matters.
During the North Dakota oil boom, I represented ranchers, landowners, and businesses in high-stakes real estate deals and business sales, as well as estate planning for those suddenly finding themselves wealthy. With roughly 20 years of experience under my belt, I’ve handled everything from multimillion-dollar transactions to everyday legal issues.
